Founder of JA Lanning Productions.

In addition to being a Licensed Spiritual Counselor through the Agape International Spiritual Center, and Certified Success Coach, Jennifer Lanning is a creative wizard. She has enjoyed sharing her talents as an entertainment industry consultant to such personalities as the late Yolanda King, daughter of Martin Luther King, Jr.

Jennifer spent her early years in both theatre and television perfecting her craft in production as a Makeup Artist, Set Carpenter, Set Dresser/ Decorator, Stage Manager, Costumer, and Camera Operator.  She has worked on such projects as “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”, “Biloxi Blues”, “Equus”, “In the Belly of the Dragon”, “This Time” the Musical, “LBS-TV News Live”, and KCOE TV Channel 50 Public Television “Evening News”.

After accomplishing many goals in theatre and television, motion pictures was a natural progression.  With an undying drive for academic excellence, Jennifer continued her education graduating from UCLA’s Entertainment Studies Program. She enhanced her previous experience studying film production under leading industry experts.  Her motion picture accomplishments include Assistant Production Manager, Sound Mixer, Cinematographer, Script Supervisor, 1st Assistant Director, Editor, and Still Photographer.  Her credits include such films as “Proverbial Justice”,  “Prisons of War”, “Darryl and Elizabeth”, and “Suicide Salvage” as well as an infomercial “Natural Hair Restoration”.
 
Desiring to give back to the community, Jennifer recruited and supervised student interns from UCLA on several of the above-mentioned projects.   

Ms. Lanning also comes with an extensive background as a professional photographer and videographer and enjoys teaching the art to children.  She currently works with individuals and small businesses on special production projects and enjoys designing web sites, producing promotional videos as well as audio cd’s.

Jennifer Lanning has the ability to take any creative project and break it down into its “produceable” state is done without comprising the quality and integrity of the project.
